Dr. Himakshu Vyas
Dr Himakshu Vyas was born in Nairobi, Kenya but moved to the UK at a very early age. In 1993 , he obtained A Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences where he studied the molecular biology of mouth cancers.
Dr. Himakshu obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from the prestigious King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1996. After working in the hospital and general practice services for 2 years, Dr. Vyas opened his own clinic in the heart of London which he ran very successfully for 10 years.
In June 2008 , Dr Himakshu was recruited to work in Australia. He emigrated here with his family. With a strong desire to be the best dentist and treat all patients with particularized care, Dr. Vyas, has now founded The Townsville Dental Centre. He wants every patient to see him not just as their dentist Townsville, but as someone who, like them, wants nothing less than the best of care. To further this goal, he regularly builds on his dental skills and knowledge by staying current on innovations in dental care and knowledge of cutting edge dental technology. Over the years, Dr Himakshu has accumulated numerous hours of continuing education all over the world. He is married to Tejal.
Dr. Lakshmi Kamasani
A third dentist Townsville has now joined the team at the Townsville Dental Centre at Fairfield Waters. Dr Lakshmi Kamasani trained at the Gulbarga University in southern India, and he operated his own practice in India for 12 years. Dr Lakshmi prides himself in the management of complex restorative dental challenges which he enjoys overcoming with out standing results and extremely happy patients His wife Divya is a software engineer.
Dr. Sonia
Dr Sonia moved with her family to Australia in 2010. She earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India in 1992 and has been a practising dentist for the past 26 years. She served in the Indian army where she began her career as a dentist .She met her future partner and now husband Jay, while serving in the Army. Sonia is passionate about multicuisine and fusion cooking and a keen traveller.
Always a keen learner Sonia attends continuing education dental courses on a regular basis to keep herself abreast with all the newer trends in the profession.
Her areas of special interest and expertise include Restorative and cosmetic dentistry including crowns, bridge and veneers ,Children’s dentistry, Sedation dentistry (happy gas),Wisdom teeth extractions and Teeth straightening with aligners / Invisalign
Dr Grishma Chaudhari
Dr Grishma Chaudhari is a general dentist trained in India. She graduated from K M Shah Dental college, Gujarat in 2012. She has joined the team at The Townsville Dental Centre. She is very keen on deploying minimally invasive treatment modalities for her patients. She has a special interest in endodontics & crown and bridge work. Her zeal to constantly update her skills and knowledge on the latest advancements and learning new techniques is what makes her a valuable addition to The Townsville Dental Centre.
She likes to travel, spend family time with a lovely son & husband and watch Bollywood classics in her free time.
Dr Bindu
Dr. Bindu was born in India and obtained Bachelors of Dental surgery from Gitam dental college in India. She practiced in India for 3 years and moved to Australia after marriage.
Dr Bindu will be with us to help you with your dental needs as She is passionate about dentistry and has special interest in providing quality restorative, prevention care and in endodontics.
She enjoys working with families and especially children.
In her free time She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling around.

I completed my bachelors in dental surgery in 2013 from NTR university of Health sciences,India and moved to Australia in 2014.I am an ardent dentist with special interest in complex restorations,crown and bridge and extractions. I would like to enhance my skills in cosmetic dentistry in future.
My hobbies are cooking and traveling with my husband and 2 kids.
