That is why Zoom teeth whitening is one of the most popular cosmetic dental procedures performed by us.

It deeply penetrates your tooth enamel and dentin faster, to achieve better teeth whitening results more quickly. Being an in-clinic treatment, taking only about one hour, our dentists are able to control the process, protecting your gums and the soft tissues of your mouth during treatment.

The combined use of the powerful zoom whitening gel, containing hydrogen peroxide, and ultraviolet light creates longer lasting results. Your teeth should stay lighter after the procedure, as long as you follow our aftercare instructions; flossing daily and brushing twice daily, coupled with an occasional touch up if needed.

Home Teeth Whitening

Home teeth whitening used to be one of the only options available to dental patients wanting a whiter smile.

The first step is a consultation with our family dentistry clinic to fix any problems, such as decay, and to give your teeth an initial clean. An impression of your upper and lower teeth is taken to make custom trays for your teeth whitening solution.

When your trays are ready, 1-2 weeks later, we schedule a second appointment during which we will show you how to dispense the whitening solution and how to use your trays at home.

The at home process usually involves wearing the whitening-solution-bearing trays for an hour each day, for around 2 weeks. We will schedule a follow up appointment to track your results and to determine the final shade of your teeth.

During the home teeth whitening process, it is important that you brush and floss before using your home system. We also recommend that you refrain from eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes afterwards.

Zoom Whitening System

Over time, lifestyle and aging teeth can become discolored, resulting in an unstatic smile. The Zoom whitening system allows your dental professional to whiten your teeth in just one visit to the dental office. The procedure is simple. The gums are first covered and the teeth are left exposed for treatment. The Zoom whitening gel is then placed onto the teeth which are going to be treated. The Zoom Whitening system consists of the teeth whitening gel and a Zoom Light which are designed to work together to break up the stain and discoloration on the teeth. The Light is applied to the gel covered teeth for 15 minutes after which time the gel is removed and replaced with a fresh gel. This process is repeated for 3 to 4 times. Once the treatment is completed, the teeth are whitened.
