Dental bridges are a great way to restore damaged teeth and replace those that are missing or have become so badly damaged they must be removed. We place a dental crown for those teeth that have a solid root and remaining tooth that leaves the dentist enough to work with.

What are Dental Bridges?

For multiple missing teeth, you will need a dental bridge. A dental bridge consists of tooth replacements which are made of porcelain. This dental appliance can fill a gap of up to four missing teeth, if there are healthy natural teeth at both ends of the gap. The adjacent healthy teeth will be bridged with dental crowns that will support the Dental Bridge. These tooth replacements are stable and bring you the utmost comfort you can enjoy.

Three Unit Bridge

One of the most common methods of replacing a missing tooth is with a Bridge. The teeth on either side of the space are used as a support for the bridge. Fabrication of a bridge generally required two appointments. During the first appointment, the supporting teeth are prepared with the dental drill to receive the bridge. At this appointment, molars are taken and the temporary bridges are also made. During the second appointment, the final bridges are fitted and cemented on to the supporting teeth. A bridge can provide a static replacement of the missing tooth.
